What if Girl Scouts Could Create and Build with the World?
Now, they can! The Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey has partnered with GLOMADO to offer hands-on, live, virtual workshops from over 60 countries around the world! Many of our workshops offer a fun and unique way to work toward earning badges!
What is GLOMADO?
GLOMADO (which stands for GLObal MAkers and DOers) is an online platform designed to build global connections and increase cultural competence through creative, hands-on workshops led in real-time by skilled artisans across the globe.
Whether it’s creating beaded jewelry from Ghana, learning botanical paint making from the Philippines, or making a macramé wall hanging from India, you can choose from a variety of unique and educational workshops offered by GLOMADO’s talented instructors.
**Specially-priced workshops for GSHNJ members are now ready to be booked!

How it Works
The GLOMADO Experience is simple:
Browse all workshops by country or activity type, including a curated list of badge-eligible workshops.
02 Register & Receive
Click here to select a workshop, choose the dates and times that works for you, and indicate the number of participants for your group.
After registration is complete, you will receive an online link for the live workshop and the workshop materials will be shipped directly to you (usually within 48 hours).
03 Get GLO-ing!
Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey members will receive special pricing which includes a 20% discount on all workshops. For a group of ten students, workshops will average $200, or $20/participant (with discount). This price includes all workshop materials. Contact us for more information or questions regarding different group sizes.
Partnership in Action
Since teaming up with GLOMADO, the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee has hosted hundreds of children and families through our globally inclusive programming, thus delighting their donors, members, staff and community partners, including Milwaukee Public Schools and the Boys and Girls Club of America.
